First Day of the Conservation Season 2018

We had an incredible first day. Pretty strong north wind and a drop in temps made the afternoon chilly. However, I’m beginning to believe the rumors that we had a really good hatch this year. The top field pictured above shot 222 snow geese. Very few were adult birds. Almost everything was juvy and Ross geese. To top it off these were migrators out of the south bucking the north wind. The other fields ranged from 70 to 12. All but two fields were above 30 birds. GREAT day! Let’s hope they continue.

We have room if you are looking to get in on a hunt this spring. Call Brad 563-380-7122 and he can give you the options we have open.
