I left Decorah this morning it was -20 and arrived in Arkansas at 50 degrees with the last load of gear. There was a south wind so the geese were moving north. It would be have been a good day to hunt snows. I saw way more birds today than earlier in the week when I left. Several of the fields are pretty wet. It’s Arkansas, a couple days of warm and wind it’s dry. If it rains it’s wet. It is always a good idea to bring waders to Arkansas.
Meeting Monday is 4:30 am.
