We are getting to the point in the season when the number of birds we see goes up and down. Believe me when I say there are birds south of us. Brad says he is fielding calls from guys worried that the “internet says all the birds are out of Arkansas,”. Who is the internet? What is their qualification to make this assessment?
I guess it’s because there are a lot of geese in Mound City. A little background for those that don’t know, we hunted in Mound City, MO, from 2001-2014. We were not the first to guide snow goose hunters there, but in my first year, there was only a handful of us.

- Winter will last into March.
- A huntable number of snow geese will be in Arkansas into March.
Today was our half-day hunt. We had mixed results. The best field shot 71 snow geese. Our low field shot 3.
