Another decent day in a string of them. Although we still had one field in the single digits, the highest field shot 45 snow geese and ran out of shells at 9 am; what would they have had if they hadn’t had to leave to buy more? We will never know that question. Plenty of birds are around. We have not seen a big migration push yet but it’s coming.
