It was a good day in the fields for us today. Nothing crazy, but a very solid hunting day. Our best field was 41 snow geese, and our slowest hunt was 17. That would be a great day for most years, but the hunting has been very good this year, so our expectations are higher, but really, they shouldn’t be.

 

There was a pretty good push of birds for a couple of hours. Many birds headed north were specks, but some light geese were in the mix. I have gotten reports that in TX and Mexico, they are still shooting snow geese. We are in pretty good shape for the rest of the season.
