Today 11 was high field. The rain held off until afternoon.
I got an call from on old boy that live near the refuge in Nebraska. His guess was there is 700,000 to 800,000 snow geese there right now. He may be right or wrong on that number but he has watched the birds there for years. He knows what a lot looks like…there’s a lot. Tomorrow we will start one of the few groups that choose to switch locations. Just like here in Arkansas the weather towards the end of the week is looking favorable for a snow goose migration which should add to that number.
