Same weather, similar results. Today was almost a carbon copy of yesterday. The high was 14, and the low was 0. It was a dark, overcast day with rain. Some fields saw more rain than others.

My guys opted to sit in the trailer for a couple of hours, letting the rain pass. Then we went back out. It was much more enjoyable when you’re not drenched. It paid off, as we had only shot one bird in the morning and six more tonight. It was not a huge day, but we would have never known had we not been out there. We saw a ton of geese this afternoon, the most I have seen in one field this year; it was cool even for someone who has done this for 25 years.
