Feb 6 – Another Big Day

It was no wind, with fog starting in the morning but not super thick all the time. In the field I was in, you could see the snow’s, but they wouldn’t decoy in the 0 wind conditions. Then a thicker bank of fog moved in, and we started mopping them up. By 9:30, the wind began to blow, but the birds stopped flying. There was a pretty good flurry midday. The evening flight was almost non-existent. We had a four pak decoy and shot all of them.

Results – high field was 85, followed closely by a field that shot 80. Low field shot 15, and the 2nd to the bottom field shot 41. Many flocks have been flying over the house for about the last hour.

We have openings starting Feb 11-26 in Arkansas. Give Brad a call at 563-380-7122 for details. Arkansas doesn’t work? We have open dates in Iowa and South Dakota as well.
