We are back in the field today following the youth duck hunt on Saturday. Friday we had a couple of fields in the average range. It was the first day we saw migrating snow geese break up and work the spreads. That was a welcome sight.

The extended forecast looks cold, how cold depends on which app you choose to view. Hopefully, the weather person will be off by 5 -10 degrees in our favor.  I don’t really believe the forecast that is more than 48 hours out. It changes often.

Regardless, I imagine we will see a reverse migration of birds heading south over the next few days. It is supposed to get really cold north of us.
