The last two days the hunting has slowed considerably. It is very apparent that the birds that are here are different birds with a much higher percentage of adults. We believe the cold and snow over the weekend to the north of us has driven birds south. Saturday and Sunday are suppose to be near 60 which should get the birds moving. We saw a fair number of birds yesterday in my field with several flocks moving north in the PM. Last night there was birds flying over the house at 11 pm. Just as the hunting has slowed from being very hot it will swing back to being hot again. There are peaks and valleys to every season. We have shot right at 1500 birds for the season.
