We’re on day two of setting up our spreads, and here’s the latest update:
Bird Movement: Over the past couple of days, we’ve observed a decent number of birds heading north. There’s a few feed by some of my fields.
Field Conditions: Currently, the fields are dry. However, we’re expecting a lot of rain on Thursday and Friday. For those of you arriving on the 1st and 2nd, be prepared for wet conditions.
Gear Recommendations: One of our fields will require waterproof boots as you’ll need to walk through some water between the parking area and the spread. Breathable waders work great for wet conditions.
Setup Progress: Everything is coming together nicely. Today, we aim to have all our spreads set up so that we won’t need to be out in the rain on Thursday and Friday setting decoys.
