After all of the antics of yesterday, today didn’t turn out all that bad. The high field shot 45. The 42 in the picture and then 3 dead sailers they picked up on the way to the trucks. The low field shot 20. All fields hunted the morning with on and off rain until around noon when thunder and lightning started. We pulled the plug on the hunting at that point. The weather today was not as bad.

For those of you wondering about hunting Arkansas in the future. It is normally not this wet. As a matter of fact, the local newspaper had a headline that this is the wettest February on record. Odds are we will not see this much water in future years.

Tomorrow is our last day of hunting in Arkansas. It has been a very successful year. We are looking at putting stakes in the ground up in my home state of Iowa.
