The first day in Iowa was average. The high field shot 28, and the low field was 8. Except for the low field, all the rest were in the teens or twenties.  Lots of birds in the area, and there aren’t as many young birds in the flocks as I saw much of the time in Arkansas, but the weather has much to do with that, I believe. South Dakota is pretty snowy right now.
