North-South Migration

Today was a solid day. There were tons of high flocks of snow geese heading south. There was also a bunch of geese coming out of the south heading north. Everybody saw plenty of birds. The weather today was cold, rainy, with snow flurries. The high field was 32; the bottom two fields shot 4. All the rest of the fields were in the twenties to low thirties.

It is wet and looks like we are going to more rain next week. If you are hunting this weekend or next week, waders would be a good idea. If not, for sure waterproof bibs.

Those also hunting this weekend and Monday. At the request of my youngest daughter, I will be returning home on Friday and will be returning on Monday. She has a school event, so I’m going to be Dad this weekend.
