Today it rained most of the day. There is a lot of water in low lying areas from the rain and melting snow. Several of the towns near the Missouri River in danger of flooding. Unlike in Arkansas, we have high and dry on rolling hilltops. Tomorrow our first group hits the field. The wind is picking up and there is a chance of rain but after tomorrow the forecast looks good.
A ton of birds has moved into the Squaw Creek area to the south of us. We are in a good position to catch them heading north as this weather breaks over the next several days. Our fingers are crossed that some of the better hunting reports we have heard in MO carry into Iowa. Time will tell.
