We hunted this morning, shooting three and eating breakfast by 9 am. We should have had two more, but I said one more pass, and the bird left. It was the first flock of the day that worked us so I had to see. Should have known with a wind speed of “calm” that if they are in range, you better kill them. There was a list of items that needed attention. This crew can’t play when there is work to be done. If work needs to be done, Jimmy cracks the whip. We finished up all of that and set the last spread.
The picture is of some Trumpeter Swan that gave us a fly-by. There are a lot of them in the area. They are cool birds and are huge!
