With a change in the temps, we also saw a change in hunting success. It warmed up nicely with a south wind. That usually means birds are moving north. They did and we had a solid day. The high field was 53 birds (guys had a subliminal message for their sweeties they left at home) and the low field was 20. The average was 39.6 today. One group, after sitting through two of the worst days so far this season, chose to not hunt. Not sure why on the first day of warm temps and south wind in several days you would choose that but it was a mistake. Birds still are rolling over the house tonight heading north.
