The pictures below are from a couple of our snow goose spreads. Our hands are pretty much tied until we get some warm weather. Everything has a ton of ice on it and only warm temps will change that. Hopefully this weekends forecast holds (36 Sat, 40 Sun). We should be able to clean up the decoy spreads some and we should start seeing birds coming out of the south. We need to get these snow geese migrating.
Hunting is going to be slow with these conditions. When the weather improves so will the hunting. The last two days have been extremely cold and most of the bird that were here have went south. Glassing those that remain we see mostly big mature birds. All of this is typically of these cold temps.
