We have contacted all of the hunter coming in this weekend to snow goose hunt. Some are going to hunt as scheduled and the others are moving their dates. We need some warmer weather to get the ice off our snow goose decoys and blinds. So far Arkansas temps have been 20-30 degrees colder than average most days. The only day it was warm was a good day of hunting. On the colder days the results have been mixed. We have had a couple really good shoots with the iced up snow goose spreads. Spring snow goose hunting is about the weather…we have had plenty of bad weather this year.
This is one of those days you don’t expect. A day after the ice storm hit Arkansas with everything frozen the snow geese bombed into this spread.
