Hunting today was SLOW! Most fields saw a few thousand birds but it is a pretty long day in the field. Hopefully tomorrows 50 degree forecast gives us a push of migrating snow geese. Sunday’s weather is calling for cold.

Another good day. In the high field 4 snow goose hunters shot 65 birds. Average was 38. Its been good snow goose hunting.  

Yesterday we did well overall with a 27 bird average. High field shot 60 snow geese.

It has been raining most of the night and pretty hard so far this morning. Waders might be a good idea as it is likely to be muddy for a day or two.

All of the listed motels are in Jonesboro close to where we stayed last year. Most of the Suites listed look nice and are newer looking from the outside. One of the hunters stayed at the Comfort Suites last year and said he highly recommends it. I have stayed at the Days Inn one night. […]
