Nebraska snow goose hunting was good yesterday. Hunters shot birds in the morning but afternoon was slow. They ended the day with 25 snow geese.
Yesterday all of the fields quit hunting around noon. We were able to pull all of the decoys and load them. Monday we will organize everything and Tuesday we will head for Nebraska. The last day the four fields shot 19, 13, 9, & 4. Hunting was a little slow side.
Plenty of birds in Nebraska but in the morning there was no wind. They ended the day with 26 snow geese. The above picture if from 2/19/16. We already have a higher high field than last spring.

Hunting was good today. We had two groups out. One group of snow goose hunters shot 35 and the other 28 with a nice trophy yellow neck collared ross goose. Bird pour back from the north today and flew out very high tonight.

Great day in the snow goose field. High field shot 111 snow geese with a banded blue goose. Second high field shot 108 with a banded blue. Low field shot 18. Very good hunting today. The decoying snow geese were mainly out of high migrating flocks. What a difference a few days make.
Wicked warm weather in Nebraska today. It hit almost 80 degrees. Curt said a lot of snow geese migrated north. There is more to come as we saw good snow goose numbers in Arkansas today. The field shot 38 birds with 2 hunter. Very good snow goose hunt.
