Meeting time for Monday’s hunt is 4:30 am. Our goal was to get all of the spreads in the ground before the rain Saturday. Mission completed. By the end of the day today we will be ready to hunt. Monday can’t get here soon enough.

We arrived in Arkansas last night to a warm-up in the weather. As usual, the snow geese rolled out of the south with the warm-up. It would have been a good day to have been hunting if the conservation order was open. One week from tomorrow it begins.

Our 2017 spring snow goose season was a shortened version this year. We only guided Arkansas opting to not hunt Nebraska.
